Philippine Sourcing & Supplier Management

The biggest cost of sourcing in the Philippines is rarely price — it is information asymmetry. We turn “is this supplier reliable?” into evidence you can check item by item.

Typical risks

  • Valid registration but a shell operating entity;
  • Quotation matches the sample, mass production does not;
  • Delivery promises that cannot be enforced locally;
  • Layered middlemen with no visibility of the actual factory;
  • Payment made, then no contact or non-conforming goods.

How we work

Three layers of evidence — document verification, site visits and third-party cross-checks — before pricing and order stages. Findings are delivered as an evidence list, not as “looks fine”.

Engagement options

Individual steps can be commissioned separately or bundled into a full sourcing project.

What is not included

  • Collecting or forwarding payments, or escrow services
  • Litigation representation and debt collection
  • Product design and process engineering consulting
  • Local warehousing operations and inventory management
  • Formal customs classification rulings (issued by licensed brokers or counsel)

Risks and what to prepare

Genuine documents, shell entityComplete registration does not prove capability — verify on site
Mismatched receiving accountThe clearest red flag; verify before any payment
Sample vs production gapAgree sealed samples, sampling ratio and non-conformance handling
Unenforceable lead timesVerbal promises lack recourse; put them in penalty clauses
Layered middlemenDirect factory contact may save 8–20%, but confirm willingness to serve small orders

Frequently asked

Do you only cover the Philippines?

Our local execution capability is currently concentrated in the Philippines, our first market. China-side scoping, supply chain coordination and project management can support other markets, but local execution is assessed case by case.

How soon will someone contact me after I submit an inquiry?

Messages received during business hours are usually answered within 2 hours; complex requirements get a scoping call within one business day. Every inquiry receives a reference number and is tracked internally.

Do you collect or forward payments?

No. Payment routes are agreed directly between buyer and supplier. We verify that the receiving account matches the legal entity and witness key milestones, reducing risk without taking custody of funds.

What does a factory audit report contain?

Site versus registered address consistency, equipment and process, quality control steps, inventory levels, workforce size, time- and location-stamped photos, and a risk list. Sampling projects include sealed-sample records.
